ADHD in Adults

I think there are many of us that feel like we are scattered and all over the place. We have trouble staying focused and find ourselves ‘multi-tasking’ (often badly).  We feel overwhelmed and disorganized. It may be that this is just the results of a full and stressful life. However, it is also possible that you are struggling with Adult ADHD.

There is some good new on this front. As noted in this MedScape article, researchers have developed a pretty simple 6 question test that allows them to determine if in fact the respondent is (likely) dealing with adult ADHD.

Having a diagnosis allows a person to seek appropriate interventions. Nevada Equine Assisted Therapy offers a unique and powerful intervention for people living with ADHD. Through work with horses, we can help improve focus, decrease impulsive behaviors and rebuild self-confidence/self-esteem that may have been damaged due to feelings of anxiety and depression over being ‘out of control’ or unable to function well in everyday life.

We are here for you. If you or someone you know is struggling with adult ADHD, seek help. Call or email us and we will schedule a time for you to visit the ranch. We will give you a tour, introduce the horses, learn more about what you are dealing with and share how we may be able to help.
