If we know better we do better

pregnantALMANY_468x702Most of us know that women should not drink or take drugs (even some prescription drugs) while pregnant. From physical issues to learning impairment and even severe cognitive challenges, children who have been exposed to drugs and alcohol while in the womb will not have an easy time of it and the consequences can last a lifetime for the child. I think it is fair to say that a mentally healthy woman would make any changes she had to, to protect the health of an unborn child, if she discovered she was pregnant

This is scary, as often men have no idea that they are actually impregnating a woman. This would be especially true in the most detrimental circumstances of no commitment, no intention and possibly no thought except for sexual gratification.

I’ll get on my soapbox for just a moment and push for low cost/free contraception for anyone who wants it.
