Hello! My name is Chance.
Chance is a Mustang that was purchased at the BLM Prison Program Auction in 2024. He entertains us all with his many versions of “playing dead” while sleeping in his stall. He has even been known to snore!!!
Chance is our newest horse. We all went to the auction together in Carson City at the correctional facility in February 2024 and watched the Bambi bid on chance till we got him! He was originally named “Coyote.” We all got to vote on his new name. He is a beautiful buckskin who is curious and gentle. He has good speed control and listens to cues. He is a joy to ride. He was gathered on August 4, 2022 from the Twin Peaks management area that is NE of Susanville on the NV border.
