Understanding Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS)

This article is a pretty easy read and gives a basic description of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS).

Many of the clients we work with come from troubling backgrounds that may include exposure to drugs and alcohol while in the womb. This can lead to very diverse challenges so each client has specific goals that address their individual issues. Horses offer a non-judgmental, supportive and healing experience for kids and teens that may feel out of place with other humans. We are able to guide them to experiences of success and appropriate responses to difficult or challenging situations.

We would love to show you around the ranch, introduce you to our wonderful horses and share more with you about how our program may be able to help. Call us today to schedule a visit.

One Response to Understanding Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS)

Thank you for including FAS in your descriptions of conditions. It is often overlooked, but being an adoptive parent of a child with FAS, I know that equine therapy could be very beneficial! I look forward to checking out the ranch when the weather gets better.
