What message do we send about “looking good”?

We have seen first hand how eating disorders can affect anyone.

In our work with Center for Hope of the Sierras we have met women young and old, who have come together, from every walk of life, to battle for their lives.

This article talks about why the battle can be so challenging.

In their work with the horses, this group addresses improving personal boundaries, increasing communication and building self confidence.

However, along the way there are so many “ah ha moments!”

While riding, a client becomes unbalanced. She shares, “I almost fell, but recovered!” Her ‘take away’ from this session is, she can do anything, “even when you feel like you are falling, you can recover and go on.  Believe in yourself.” An important lesson for someone dealing with what will most likely be a life long challenge.

We would love to show you around the ranch, introduce you to our wonderful horses and share more with you about how our program works. Call us today to schedule a visit.
