When should you seek help for mental health issues

All of us occasionally feel that life is a little (or maybe a lot) out of control. We may be “unhappy,” experience problems sleeping, be “moody”…but when do these symptoms point to a serious problem?  This article gives you 7 signs that you may need to seek professional help.

Nevada Equine Assisted Therapy can be a very effective part of a treatment plan for a wise variety of issues.  From Anxiety to Oppositional Defiant Disorder, through work with horses we can address issues in a non-threatening yet challenging environment. We develop individual goals for each client and starting from the ground up, clients learn to groom, lead, play and, when appropriate to ride horses. From herd observation to equitation, our clients build a relationship with “their” horse, a relationship based on “firm, fair and consistent” boundaries and rules.  We look at questions such as how do you build trust? What makes a good leader? How do I communicate effectively?

We work with children as young as 4, teens, adults, seniors, siblings, couples, families and we do small group work as well.

We would love to show you around the ranch, introduce you to our wonderful horses and learn more about the challenges you are facing. Give us a call to schedule a visit.
