Equine Therapy can play an important role as part of a comprehensive treatment team. Because our sessions are non-threatening and unique, clients are eager to participate. We will work with the licensed therapist and/or psychiatrist to address the issues they feel are most important. We may work on improving frustration tolerance and coping skills along with helping the client improve their confidence and self-esteem. We find that even extremely troubled clients can find comfort and peace while working with the horses.
