We all have a pretty good mental picture of what a kid with ADHD looks like, but what we see is not always what is going on. There are lots of reasons why a kid may show symptoms of ADHD, but we want to look more closely to see if that really is the case?
This post at WebProNews talks about what to look for when making a diagnosis and notes that according to WebMD “most children display (some symptoms) at some point or another. But to establish a diagnosis of ADHD, sometimes referred to as ADD, the symptoms should be inappropriate for the child’s age.”
Whether your child or teen is diagnosed with ADHD or is simply having a hard time staying focused and on task, or is acting impulsively, or is displaying other ADHD like symptoms, work with horses can be very powerful in facilitating change, growth and learning.
We would be happy to show you around our ranch and introduce you to our wonderful horses. We want to learn more about the challenges you are dealing with and will share how we may be able to help. Call or email to schedule a visit.
