The pluses of having a diagnosis

I know that most of us don’t like being labeled, so having a “diagnosis” may be something you have avoided. However, it can be a positive thing if a diagnosis means that you can stop fighting with the school about your child’s/teen’s behavior, or read a book on coping skills, or talk to other parents for ideas on how to deal with certain issues. Knowledge is power. It is a starting point and only defines someone if they allow it to. So here is a researchers checklist of aspergers symptoms/behaviors. We work with kids and teens on the spectrum and would love to show you the ranch, introduce you to our horses and tell you more about how we can help. Call us.
