Frightening numbers about eating disorders

Something has to change! Research is showing that younger and younger children are too aware/obsessed with their weight, leading to more and more kids with food/eating issues!

We must support a concern for being healthy, but our distorted image of “beauty” is killing us! Horses come in all kinds of body shapes, based on what their natural “job” was – long and lanky was for racing (bay horse) or short and stocky to carry knights into battle (gray horse).  We emphasis this in our work with the group from Center for Hope, a residential eating disorder program. We also note that horses are non-judgmental – it is what your heart and head are made of that matters to them! We would love to tell you more about our program. Call us for a tour of the ranch and a meet-and-greet with our horses!
