How do we know when our kids need mental health help?

It’s sometimes very difficult to know if what your child is experiencing is “normal”.  Some kids are afraid of the dark, have some challenging days at school, have difficulty with a particular subject, have lots of energy, seem to have trouble with friendships, but most of them work through it or out grow the problem. So how do you know when the situation warrants seeking professional help.  This article gives some very good advice on things to look out for and why they may warning signs.
