Teachers are so important to our children’s success!

Though this article is geared towards parents with children dealing with ADHD, I think the suggestions for partnering with your child’s teacher(s) are universally helpful.

We are eager and willing to partner with schools and teachers to help each child achieve success. If possible, we will attend IEP (Individual Education Plan) meetings and share what it is we are working on, as well as taking educational goals back to the ranch.  This may mean working on colors, numbers, reading skills, etc. All of which can be addressed through work with horses!

Our upright poles and ground poles are striped (numbers and colors) and on our nature walks we often see wonderful creatures, such as (one goose – plural is?) a flock of geese.

Meanwhile, we are also working on the social, emotional and behavioral issues that our program is all about. Increased focus, building self confidence, decreasing anxiety, and so much more.

We would love to show you around the ranch, introduce you to our wonderful horses and to share more with you about how our program works. Call us today to schedule a visit!
