When our weight defines our lives

eating disorder - smallOur lives can be so very complicated. From the time we are a small child all the way till the day we die, there are people who judge us on everything from the way we wear our hair to the way we keep our house. For many, the judgments of others mean little. But for many more, these judgments will define them. These judgments often take the form of bullying and can lead the victims to make bad, often devastating, personal choices.

One of the most frequent things we are judged on is how our bodies look. Overweight-BMI

In a new survey conducted by SheByShe, we see just how prevalent weight related bullying is. Is it any wonder that eating disorders are increasing? And suicides. I guess we can be thankful that girls/woman almost always turn their pain and anger on themselves rather those who have tormented them…

If you or someone you know is struggling please seek help. We are here and happy to work as part of your team. Call or email us and we will schedule a visit. We will show you around, introduce the horses, learn more about what you are dealing with and share how we may be able to help.
