There are many ways to treat ADHD and Equine Therapy is one of them. Work with horses can increase focus and decrease impulsivity. We can work on self-soothing/calming skills. We can improve problem solving skills and self-confidence, which sadly can be lacking for kids that struggle. Additionally, we can be a great sounding board for parents/care givers who need to be heard and are looking for new ideas on how to address issues at home.
If you or someone you know is having a hard time dealing with the issues of ADHD, we might be able to help. Call or email and we will schedule a visit. You can tour the ranch, meet the horses, tell us more about what you are living with and learn more about how work with horses might be able to make a difference.
