Battling Teen Depression with Equine Therapy

The changes that take place during the teen years can be so daunting, many teens end up confused and depressed. They may feel inadequate and not up to the challenges of growing up. Working with horses provides them an opportunity to develop greater self-confidence, leadership skills, deepen empathy, bond with a special, non-judgmental creature, among other things. Besides hanging out with horses is cool! Life does not seem so overwhelming when there is something to look forward to. Call us to arrange a personal tour of the ranch and an introduction to our equine partners (horses!)

  1. Wonderful to see equine therapy applied to such an under-recognized phenomenon!
