So many of us rush through life (I’m a prime example – my partner keeps telling me to “slow down!”) and rarely take the time to become centered and focused. Frustration and anger may set in when we are forced to slow down. However, if you are not relaxed and focused you will have a hard time communicating your intentions to your equine partner. Work with horses requires us to “be in the moment”.
