Asperger’s and imagination

This article points out that we often define people by our expectations, rather than by a more open ended standard.  I absolutely agree with the position that many people with Asperger’s have wonderful imaginations.

A client I work with always has stories to tell me, stories full of imagination. As a matter of fact, her family has occasionally complained that she prefers her imaginary friends to some family interactions!  We are working on this – when is it appropriate to journey inwards and when is it better to be a part of the world around you? When you are working with horses you absolutely need to be “in the moment!”

We would love to show you around the ranch, introduce you to our incredible horses and share more with you about how our program can help. Call us today to schedule a visit.
