Horses 101 Summer Camp

N.E.A.T. will again be partnering with Sherry Sanders, M.F.T., M.ed, to provide a great introduction to horses. This program is designed to instruct and entertain. Here are the dates and a few details:

We will offer two sessions for children 4 to 10 years of age  – July 5, 7, 12 & 14  and July 20, 22, 27 & 29  from 9am to 11am. During our 8 hours together we will cover herd observation, horse breeds, color and anatomy, grooming, leading, the Parelli 7-games. Our expectation is that by the last session, everyone will be able to get up on a horse.

We will also offer two sessions for those 11 to 17 years of age – July 6, 8, 13 & 15 and July 19, 21, 26 & 28 from 9am to 11am. These sessions will be geared to an older student, but during our 8 hours together we will also cover herd observation, horse breeds, color and anatomy, grooming, leading, the Parelli 7-games. And again, our expectation is that by the last session everyone will be able to get up on a horse.

Our ranch is conveniently located in South Reno near Bartley Ranch, easily accessible from the 395, McCarren and So. Virginia St.

Class size will be limited to no more than 8 participants, so each student will get lots of time with our wonderful horses. Make your reservations early to guarantee a space.

For more information or to make a reservation call (775) 303-4648 or contact Sherry at educareglobalcounsel@me.com.
