Some very helpful tips on traveling with kids

For many families travel time, even just from home to school, can be truamatic.

When kids have transitioning issue to begin with and then add in some of the sensory issues created by the noise and visual overload that car travel can inject, it’s not surprising that there are tantrums and melt-downs!

This article offers many helpful tips on easing this trying time.

In our work with horses our clients learn and practice transitioning from activity to activity. They experience a combination of new sights and sounds while learning self-soothing techniques to help them when they are feeling stress or anxiety. These new tools help them to be more successful in other areas of their lives.
